Operation 4
After 3 operations in a year, I now need a fourth, it was confirmed this morning. My thumb has healed but my tendon is now scraggly and too long. So about January (about when the first operation was) I shall have the fourth to cut the tendon and tighten it so I can pinch. I am sad, but gratefull that the team are prepared to keep trying. And I like morphine.
I need to draw more. Who want’s an animal?

Hand update. Operation 3
surgeon found i half a 20% bit of tendon left so he just cut a channel around it, chopped scar tissue and tidied it up. i should in a few weeks with some physio be able to pinch again.
massive thanks to nhs team and the morphine. that bit was so ace i tried to give the surgeon a cuddle.
that should be it for operations now. :)
